I agree. It's really sad but true. Sometimes that's how I feel about the one I love right now. But how do you know that you're not meant to be together? Or when do you know? How long do you need to wait? Those are some things that go through my mind everyday. For some people, love comes easily. For others like me... it's a lot of hard work. I hope it'll work out my way in the end. Till then, I'm hanging in there. You too!
Thanks for the comment. I ask myself the same questions almost daily. I have been in love with the same man for four years now, and this last April we only started dating. I tell myself that I will never give up on "us" until he tells me there is no chance of us being together, and he has promised me that if he ever feels that way that he will tell me. You are correct when you say that love comes easily for some people. However, those of us who have to work hard for it have a deeper understanding of what we want and will not settle for anything less. I'm sure it will work out for both of us, I am claiming that for us for this year. Please let me know!!!
My love and I have frequent "almost" break ups because our situation (not going into the tediousness of explaining it), is just so extremely difficult. Our last almost breakup, I said to him, "I know we'll have a very strong relationship in the future, because we're working so hard for it right now - we're going to cherish it more once we can be together, like a normal couple."
